No. Your journal is stored on your device. Meal scans and Ask PURPOSE use online services when requested. Checking your subscription also needs internet.
No. Nutrition estimates and AI responses can be wrong. PURPOSE is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or replacement for qualified care.
Meal analysis may use Google Gemini. Ask PURPOSE may use Google Gemini or OpenAI. The AI page explains what each request can send.
No. PURPOSE does not keep a cloud copy of your complete journal. Personalization does not include your reflections or photos. Anything you type in a question is still sent.

Yes. Export your records, back up your journal with encryption, or delete data in Settings. Restoring a backup replaces the records it covers on your device.
